Lessons from my Nephew

Two and a half years ago a little ball of sunshine came into the world. Little did I know how much this little human would shape and teach me.

Meet Charlie.

Charlie with the smile that lights up a room

Charlie who has the most infectious laugh and love of life

A boy who lives lives only in the moment

The little soul that reminded me how important it is to play, be silly and just be.

I was born an over-thinker and over analyser. It is very hard for me to crawl out of my head and just be in the moment (as cliche as it sounds).

Rolling around on the floor playing games and entering a world of imagination has been more effective than any meditation practice. Playing is really the best thing ever and Charlie has reminded me of this time and time again.

So thank you little sunshine for your cackling laugh , your dinosaur squeals, your beautiful imagination and your endless energy.

Don't grow up too fast kid x
